Are We There Yet? |
Welcome. My name is Marcelle. I'm 26. I live in Baltimore. This is a story about who I am and where I want to go. I'm not there yet. |
There are about a million ways one can begin a bucket list. They can just start jotting down numbers and the required goal next to it. You can break up the list in areas, some have included Travel locations, Education Goals, Natural places on Earth (although doesn’t this go with travel!?!?!?), Cool activities, Events, Sports, Language, Hobbies, Crafts, Books (oo I like the sound of this one), People to meet, Spirituality/ Religion, Holidays, and foods…Ok so we could keep going for basically ever, until every cell in the universe was on your list.
I think my list will not be organized in a mega fascists way, that I would normally complete it. Instead it will be random. It will have no rules, except for the intended purpose of finishing the list before I die.
Wow. Way to make this morbid. Now I’m talking about death. Great. Well none of us can expect to be here forever. That’s a lesson I have learned in my short time on earth. I don’t want to take for granted the time I have been given. Or waste my time, that might be my biggest fear.
I want my list to include hopes and dreams. Wishes and things that seem idealistic to me. Shouldn’t the list be somewhat attainable, but also partly fictitious.
At this time I challenge YOU to start your own list. However your list may look.
Some cool and interesting examples include these websites:

So I decided since everyone else on the planet has a bucket list, I might as well have one too.
This will be a work in progress.
There are things I would like to accomplish this year, and others in the later years.
Lets have a go.
I’m starting this out with a look at popular depictions of bucket lists.
Most notably the movie “The Bucket List”. What a great idea for a movie. Two old dudes dying, but they set out on an adventure of a lifetime. Who wouldn’t want to do that?
So #1 on my list: Travel. Everywhere.
This is the official list of my Bucket List.
1. Travel. Everywhere.
Thats me y’all.
